By joining the competitive team, you and your child acknowledge and agree to the following commitments, policies, and rules:

• I understand that all decisions regarding placement, costuming, music, rehearsals, and more are made by my teachers.

• I commit to being reliable and punctual for my team and teachers.

• I will attend all summer choreography sessions as scheduled.

• I will be present at all scheduled rehearsals, performances, and competitions.

• I will practice my choreography at home to ensure I retain steps, counts, and movements.

• I will fully participate in all classes I am enrolled in, both competitive and non-competitive, to the best of my ability.

• I will always be supportive, encouraging, and respectful to my teammates and teachers.

• I will respect the leadership, constructive feedback, and decisions of my teachers.

• I understand that if I miss more than three cleaning sessions without proper notice, I may be asked to withdraw from the competitive team.

• Absolutely no rehearsals or classes are to be missed within 30 days of a scheduled competition. If a rehearsal is missed during this period, I understand that I may be removed from that event.

• If I am injured, I will still attend classes and observe.

• If I am sick, I will notify the studio and catch up on any missed material before the next class.

• I understand that my music and choreography videos will be uploaded to the parent portal for me to review and apply corrections.

Payment and Refund Policies

All competition-related fees, including costumes, registration, and choreography, are non-refundable and must be paid in full by August 15.

The following fees are also non-refundable and must be paid by their respective due dates:

• Cleaning fees

• Tuition fees

• Team jacket fees

• Convention fees

Please ensure all payments are made on time to maintain your dancer’s participation in the program.

Registration Policies

The selections made on your application are mandatory if your dancer is accepted into the corresponding routine(s). For example:

• If you select one option and are accepted, your dancer is expected to participate in that routine.

• If you select three options and are accepted into all three, your dancer is required to participate in all of them.

This policy ensures a smooth and efficient process, allowing our choreographers to be fully prepared and fees to be applied correctly, without unnecessary back-and-forth.

If you are unsure which style(s) your dancer should request, we are happy to schedule a meeting to discuss what would be the best fit.

Additionally, your dancer may be invited to join an extra routine beyond their selections. If this happens, we will notify you confidentially via email, giving you the opportunity to decide before informing your dancer. Once placements are released, you will have one week to confirm participation in any additional routine.

Why are these policies in place?

Our policies are designed to ensure consistent commitment from every dancer throughout the season. Regular attendance tracking helps maintain the integrity of our program and ensures that all team members stay dedicated to their routines and teammates.

These policies are outlined in the application, which all dancers must read, understand, and sign in agreement. Failure to uphold these commitments may result in withdrawal from the Competitive Program.
