Please review Dance Directions’ 2026/27 set rates in our studio handbook. Registration fees, recital fees, and regular tuition still apply. Costume fees for competitive dances are already included in the competitive fees.

Additional Mandatory Class Fees
Regular 2026/27 Tuition: Approximately $83–$294 per month, depending on class length and additional non-competitive classes. Exact rates can be found in the studio handbook.
Additional Miscellaneous Costs: (See next below for details.)
GROUPS (4+ DANCERS)
Competition Fee: $270+ GST – Due August 15 (includes 2 competition registrations and costume).
Tuition: Competitive group classes are charged at regular tuition rates.
SOLOS (1 DANCER)
Competition Fee: $370 + GST – Due August 15 (includes 2 competition registrations and costume).
Solo Lessons: Scheduled biweekly from September–June.
Cleaning Fee: $40 + GST per 30-minute session (2–3 classes per month, scheduled at the start of the season).
Due on the 1st of each month (biweekly cleaning sessions).
Approximate yearly total: $720.
DUOS (2 DANCERS)/TRIOS (3 DANCERS)
Competition Fee: $320 + GST – Due August 15 (includes 2 competition registrations and costume).
Duo Lessons: Scheduled biweekly from September–June.
Cleaning Fee: $35 + GST per 30-minute session (2–3 classes per month, scheduled at the start of the season).
Due on the 1st of each month.
Approximate yearly total: $630.

Team Jacket: Typically $80–$120.
Preview Show Admission: $15–$20 per person.
Competition Admission: Varies $5–$25 per person.
Required Items: Budget for tights, undergarments (nudie), and hair/makeup supplies.
Travel Expenses: Budget for transportation to and from Vancouver.
Hotel Accommodations: If your child competes on back-to-back days (optional).

Student A – 1 Competitive Group, 1 Non-Competitive Class
