Welcome to the Dance Directions Competitive Team

Dancers ages five and up who are interested in this program should demonstrate a strong commitment, the ability to retain choreography, and consistent attendance in all enrolled classes. Participation in all scheduled competition dates is required.

Being part of our competitive team requires more dedication than non-competitive classes. Dancers will set ambitious goals, meet higher expectations, and thrive in a fast-paced learning environment. Our Competitive Program provides intensive training and a variety of performance opportunities, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, artistry, and personal growth.

This program is ideal for students who seek more class time and additional performance experiences. Dancers should be practicing their skills regularly outside of class and have a passion for continuous improvement.

We strive to find the best placement for each dancer who auditions. While winning is exciting, our Competitive Program is about much more than trophies. We focus on building a supportive, cohesive team where every dancer is celebrated. Our goal is to help students break through personal barriers, expand their artistic expression, and grow in confidence.

In our focused and encouraging classroom setting, dancers will experience steady, meaningful progress throughout the year.
